Your account

Lathe uses Firebase Authentication to store your account identity, email, sign-in provider, and display name. Firebase persists your sign-in session in this browser until you log out. No payment details are collected.

Your name and email are also stored with your plan record in Firebase Firestore so account administrators can identify your account. Your Firebase user ID links this record to your usage.

Sign-in

Google, Apple, and email/password sign-in use Firebase Authentication. Password resets send a link to your email. Billing is not connected.

AI usage

When you use the live Mac assistant, Lathe records the model, response status, token counts, web research count, and time with your Firebase account. The website reads this activity after you sign in. Usage records do not contain prompts or project files.

Product files

The website does not upload or read your local Lathe projects. Product screenshots show the Desktop Assistant example project.

Before launch

The published policy will identify the operator, contact details, data retention, service providers, and the process for privacy requests.
